Minimum Qualifications

• 5 plus years of experience with asphalt testing
• 2 plus years of leadership experience
• Class 5 Driver’s License

Preferred Qualification

• Civil technician background would be considered an asset

Day in the Life

As the QC supervisor you will start your day by reviewing the testing schedule and planning your tasks accordingly. You may coordinate with project managers, contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure timely testing of asphalt materials. You will also responsible for over seeing a team of technicians conducting the testing at the asphalt plants. You will be relied on to provide guidance on testing procedures and ensure the team understands the responsibilities. You may participate in the collection of asphalt samples from construction sites or asphalt plants and ensuring proper sampling techniques are followed. You and your team will then spend time analyzing the samples and generating reports based on your findings.You will then communicate the results to other stakeholders.
