Compensation
$26.00 per hour
Job Summary
As an Intern you will be responsible for providing support to the organization and Equipment department through learning business practices along the way.
Main Responsibilities
- Equipment Maintenance: Assist with preventative maintenance workflows, scheduling and basic inspection
- Equipment Tracking & Documentation: Review and maintain accurate digital and physical logs for shop repairs, field service calls, and any maintenance
- Provide clerical and administrative support for the department
- Work on special projects as assigned
- Other duties as assigned
Education and/or Work Experience
- Must be actively working towards a college degree
Skills
- Ability to multitask efficiently and effectively and be flexible
- Ability to work independently and as a team
- Basic math skills with the ability to calculate and analyze data
- Excellent attention to detail
- Excellent organizational skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication
- Must have the ability to work well with all levels of the organization
- Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
- Strong tendency to take initiative
Physical Requirements
- Ability to utilize hands and fingers in order to type and carry reports should the need require
- Ability to stand, walk, and reach with arms and hands throughout the workday should the need arise
- Ability to climb, balance, stoop, kneel, and crouch should the need arise
- Ability to sit for a long period of time, possibly more than 90% of the workday
- Ability to see clearly or with assistance via necessary correction
