Job Summary
We are seeking a self‑motivated, detail‑oriented Contract Administrator to support our Southeast Road Builders team in Klawock. In this role, you will coordinate the administration of construction contracts, assist with recruiting and onboarding new employees, and perform a range of office and administrative duties related to aggregate and concrete sales. This position operates in a fast‑paced environment and requires strong organizational and communication skills. Main Responsibilities
- Complete, compile, review, collect signatures for, and validate the accuracy of project contracts.
- Manage Certificates of Insurance and bonds for customers and subcontractors on all projects.
- Process and collect required waivers and affidavits for project closeout, including those from subcontractors and vendors as needed.
- Perform general office duties, including mail handling, filing, data entry, and timecard coding.
- Coordinate scale and sales operations by dispatching and scheduling concrete and aggregate deliveries, weighing trucks, maintaining sales records, creating batch tickets, and tracking cement quantities for purchasing.
- Manage accounting and contract activities, including preparing invoices and statements, assembling quotes, setting up small job contracts, tracking aggregate sales for royalty payments, and processing quarterly sales tax.
- Support HR functions by posting job openings, processing new hires, monitoring driver qualifications, and maintaining required compliance postings.
- Maintain a positive company image through professional communication with staff and clients.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Minimum Experience & Preferred Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of office administrative experience.
- Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
- Proficiency in MS Office and data management tools.
- Customer service and HR experience preferred.
Physical Requirements
- Must pass drug screening.
- Ability to sit and stand for extended periods in an office environment.
- Occasionally lift 10–25 lbs; frequently lift up to 10 lbs.
