Summary:
The Staff Accountant will prepare journal entries, financial reports, analyze actual financial data, use various bookkeeping systems, and support the Senior Accountant. 

Salary - $61,100 - $70,000

Main Responsibilities

  • Provide support for the Senior Accountant in all financial matters involving the business.
  • Perform vital research, filing, data entry, while recording and maintaining accurate and complete financial records
  • Prepare financial reports, such as balance sheets and income statements, invoices, and other documents
  • Work with bookkeeping software
  • Handle confidential information on a routine basis with honesty and integrity
     

Skills

  • A bachelor's degree in Accounting.
  • Demonstrated academic success in Accounting with prior business experience strongly preferred.
  • Strong math skills, proficiency with computers, particularly with Microsoft Excel
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • High level of efficiency, accuracy, and responsibility
  • Motivation and strong desire to tackle new challenges and learn as much as possible
  • The ability to work well with people in team settings
