Drives truck for transporting construction material and heavy construction equipment.  May have various kinds of beds attached, such as dump, flat bed, semi-trailer or trailer.        

 

Responsibilities:

 

  1. Ensure a safe work environment in compliance with all company and federal safety policies and procedures using the appropriate tools and equipment for each task.         
  2. Load heavy construction equipment/material to and from jobs        
  3. Knowledge of DOT standards and requirements and adhere to same        
  4. Pre and Post trip inspections        
  5. Maintain daily log        
  6. Understand verbal and written directions, GPS    
  7. Perform all other duties deemed necessary or assigned

       

Qualifications

 

  1. Minimum 3 years of experience in related position     
  2. Team player   
  3. Effective communication and organization skills     
  4. Knowledge of DOT regulations   
  5. Ability to analyze potential problems and communicate them to appropriate personnel     
  6. Valid CDL Class A  license, with N & H  endorsements, a plus

  • Reaching 10 % of time
  • Climbing 5 % of time
  • Stooping  10 % of time
  • Carrying up to 50 lbs 5 % of time
  • Lifting  up to 50 lbs 5 % of time
  • Pushing  up to 50 lbs 5 % of time
  • Pulling  up to 50 lbs 5 % of time
