Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree/ Diploma in Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Business Analytics, or related field
  • 2-4 years of experience in process analysis, operations support, or similar roles
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a data-driven approach
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines
  • Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively in a cross-functional team environment
  • Attention to detail with strong research and documentation abilities
  • Proactive and solution-oriented mindset
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office
  • Team collaboration and knowledge-sharing focus
  • Adaptability and continuous improvement mindset
  • Valid driver’s license

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Familiarity with production processes, manufacturing operations, or the construction industry
  • Experience in preparing Capital Expenditure proposals and data presentations
  • Knowledge of grant/rebate processes and experience in drafting funding applications
  • Experience gained can be used in obtaining P.Eng. designation

Day in the Life

As a Process Engineering Analyst in Aggregate manufacturing, you will spend your day analyzing production data to identify trends, inefficiencies, and opportunities for improvement, while supporting Capital Expenditure (CAPEX) initiatives through data preparation and reporting. You will collaborate closely with operations teams to assess equipment conditions, manage grant and rebate applications, and research new technologies to enhance process efficiency. You will also facilitate knowledge sharing and best practices across divisions, helping drive continuous improvement initiatives and operational excellence.

 

You will also be responsible for supporting environmental and regulatory compliance, assisting with monitoring emissions, suggesting ideas to improve energy efficiency, setting targets, and tracking data on the aggregate side of the business, with some crossover to our asphalt plants. The role involves presenting insights and recommendations to stakeholders, supporting strategic decision-making, and contributing to projects that enhance both productivity and long-term business growth.
