Mission

Organizes the activity of the station/factory in order to optimize the production of asphalt mixes and/or the manufacture of bitumen binders and/or emulsions while ensuring respect for the environment, quality and safety rules
 

Main Responsibilities

  • Controls and manages the activity of the station/plant/factory: establishes the production schedule of the station/factory, ensures that the budget is respected and that costs are optimized, oversees policies, procedures, and processes designed to minimize costs and maximize production

  • Controls the quality and conformity of products/raw materials, energy consumption and the operation of systems including the weighing system procedure 

  • Manages stocks of products for manufacturing, fuels and lubricants used

  • Ensures compliance with the operating permit for his/her industrial site: regulations, standards, decrees, etc.

  • Ensures the relationship between the factory and its environment: is in contact with administrations, control organizations, suppliers, local residents, customers and other company departments

  • Ensures the maintenance of equipment: orders spare parts,  organizes troubleshooting,  prioritizes emergencies, ensures interventions and maintenance of the station in complete safety

  • Manages his/her team: directs the team, ensures that work time is respected, assesses the skills and monitors the development of employees

Profile

  • Typically requires a bachelor’s degree and at least 3-4 years of experience
