Water Truck Driver

Subsidiary: Miller Paving Limited

About Us:

  • Operates the specific vehicles used for the project work in their field of specialty (road, pipelines, rail, etc.) in observance of the safety guidelines.

As a Water Truck Driver, You Will:

  • Drive a full tandem truck with 3-5000 gallon water tank
  • Measure quantities of water usage
  • Assist with safety documentation and payroll submission
  • Perform daily inspection of machine; oversee condition of vehicle and inspect tires, lights, brakes, and other equipment
  • Loading and unloading goods
  • Complete CVOR related paperwork
  • Strictly abide by all environmental policies and procedures
  • Other duties as required

What You'll Bring:

  • Minimum Class 3 with air brake endorsement and driver’s abstract meeting Miller expectations; Class 1 preferred
  • 2 to 3 years’ driving experience required
  • Highway construction signage safety, an asset
  • Comply with e-log requirements
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Ability to effectively work within a team environment
  • Excellent problem solving skills and the ability to think critically
  • Punctual and reliable, with the ability to work overtime and weekends, if needed
  • Travel is required
