Job Summary

As a Mergers and Acquisition Manager at Colas Inc., you will have the unique opportunity to lead our business development efforts and play a pivotal role in shaping the future of our company. This high-profile position requires exceptional sales expertise and a proven track record in successfully implementing mergers and acquisitions strategies. As part of our world-class team, you will compete in the fast-paced world of infrastructure construction and maintenance, determining the potential for growth and expansion through meticulous market analysis and modeling.

Main Responsibilities

  • Create and implement strategic plans for mergers and acquisitions that align with the company's growth objectives.
  • Identify potential acquisition targets and evaluate their financial performance and compatibility with Colas Inc.'s business model
  • Conduct comprehensive due diligence on potential transactions, ensuring flawless execution and adherence to legal and regulatory requirements
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate acquired companies seamlessly into the Colas Inc. family, fostering a culture of collaboration and shared success
  • Lead negotiations and deal structuring, ensuring optimal terms and conditions for the company
  • Monitor and analyze industry trends and competitive landscape to identify new opportunities for growth and expansion

Education and Minimum Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, or a related field, or equivalent experience
  • MBA or other advanced degree preferred. Equivalent experience will also be considered.

Skills

  • Proven track record in successfully leading mergers and acquisitions transactions
  • Strong understanding of business operations and ability to analyze financial data effectively.
  • Exceptional negotiation and deal structuring abilities
  • Strong communication and relationship-building abilities, with the capacity to connect with individuals at various levels within the organization
  • Proficiency in working efficiently in a dynamic and time-sensitive work environment
