Miller Maintenance proudly provides maintenance services on Maintenance Contracts for the Ministry of Transportation throughout Ontario. Our leadership in the Ontario road and highway maintenance industry is based on our commitment to continuous improvement through education, innovation, safety, and training.

Miller Maintenance has immediate openings for Winter Works Combo/Plow Operators. The winter maintenance season runs yearly from October until April, weather dependent. As a Winter Dispatch Clerk, You Will:

• Dispatch and coordination of drivers, assigning route cards, assisting supervisors with directions
• Timely and accurate completion of winter documentation including driver timesheets
• Monitoring of Winter Plow Units on GPS as required
• Assist in dispatching winter works units and monitoring radio to answer driver calls during winter operations to ensure compliance
• Coordination and filing of paperwork and reports
• Assisting Patrol Supervisor with documentation, as required
• Other general office and administrative duties as assigned

What You'll Bring:

• Construction/highway maintenance experience an asset
• Previous experience in the administration or clerical field is an asset
• Proficient in Microsoft Office programs, including Outlook, Excel, and Word
• Ability to work various shifts based on winter weather with a flexible schedule and be on-site in the dispatch office during winter events
• Strong organization and time management skills, ability to work in a fast paced environment
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Strong attention to detail
• Ability to work in a team environment with minimal supervision
