Job Summary:

Operates the specific vehicles used for the project work in their field of specialty (road, pipelines, rail, etc.) in observance of the safety guidelines.

Education:

•    Current National Commission for the Certification of Crane Operators (NCCCO) Mobile Crane Operator Certification, or the ability to become certified required
•    Valid drivers’ license with ability to maintain a clean driving history required
•    Class A CDL with endorsements and valid medical card preferred 
•    High school diploma or equivalent preferred

Skills:

•    Two or more years of experience in operation of fixed and mobile cranes; experience operating Lattice Boom Crawler (LBC) required; experience operating Telescopic Boom - Swing Cab (TLL) preferred
•    Previous experience in bridge construction and pile driving preferred

Physical Requirements:

•    Wears and maintains personal protective equipment (PPE) as required by Company safety guidelines
•    Regularly required to lift and /or move up to 50 pounds with or without assistance
•    Regularly required to use hands to make signal gestures, and move or manipulate objects
•    Regularly required to communicate (talk and hear) 
•    Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, and depth perception
•    Frequently required to walk across uneven terrain; sit; reach with hands and arms, and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl; stand/work on feet for long periods 
•    Frequent exposure to typical construction site conditions, including dust, loud noise, fuel, oil, chemicals, and adverse weather conditions
•    Work involves varying hours, including nights/weekends; travel with overnight stays away from home required
