Flagger/TCS

This is a union position hired out of the Alaska Laborers Local 942.

Essential Functions:

- Direct movement of vehicular and pedestrian traffic through construction projects

- Place signs, barricades, traffic cones and other warning devices

- Guide and support fellow employees with traffic control for work zones

- Ability to work independently and provide accurate reporting

- Communicate with employees and the general public

- Recognize dangerous traffic situations and warn workers

Requirements:

- Help promote a culture of safety

- Must have a current Flagger Card

- Ability to stand for long hours

- Pass pre-employment and random drug tests

- Successful completion of physical abilities test

- Ability to work in outdoor environment

- Good attendance and positive attitude
