HD Mechanic

This is a union position hired out of the International Union of Operating Engineers Local 302.

Essential Functions:

·         Ability to maintain and troubleshoot heavy equipment

• Ability to do diagnostics and manage multiple tasks at one time
• Ability to work independently and provide accurate reporting
• Excellent organizational and time management skills
• Must know trucks, backhoes, excavators, pavers, loaders, generators and have welding & electrical skills
• Must have own tools

Requirements:

·         Helps promote a culture of safety

·         Must have a CDL and Medical Examiners Card

·         Must have MSHA certification

·         Pass pre-employment and random drug tests

·         Successful completion of physical abilities test

·         Ability to work in outdoor environment

·         Good attendance and positive attitude
