Shop Helper/ Expediter

Exclusive Paving is seeking a Shop Helper and/or Expediter. No experience necessary but must be familiar with a shop environment. This position is non-union but is a great opportunity to gain experience for future union members.

Responsibilities

- Keeping shop clean (i.e. sweeping, organizing, trash removal etc.)

- Cleaning interior and exterior of vehicles and equipment

- Moving parts within the shop area as directed by mechanics

- Pick up and deliver parts, also general office errands

- Ability to work under pressure and stressful situations while still maintaining cooperative working relationships with staff.

- Strong communication skills, attention to detail, self-motivated, multi-tasker, must be willing to work outside and not be afraid to get dirty.

- Safety Oriented

Requirements:

- Must be able to pass pre-employment and random drug tests

- Must be able to successfully complete physical abilities test

- Must be 18 and have a valid driver’s license

- Must be able to work in outdoor environment

- Must be dependable, punctual and have strong work ethic
