Job Summary
- Carries out manual tasks which contribute to the carrying out of the project for their professional specialty (road, pipelines, rail, etc.) in observance of the safety guidelines.
Main Responsibilities
- Cleaning and preparing the precast site and pavement surfaces.
- Keep equipment and tools in good working condition.
- Work in a team-oriented environment.
- Perform other tasks as assigned to assist the crew.
Education
High School diploma/GED.
Skills
- Valid Driverâs License and good driving record.
- Road construction experience preferred.
- Excellent written and oral skills required.
Physical Requirements
- Required to pass drug screening and a PAT (physical abilities test).
- Wears and maintains personal protective equipment (PPE) as required.
- Regularly required to communicate (talk and hear).
- Standing/working on feet for long periods, and walking across uneven terrain.
- Frequent exposure to loud noise.
- Regularly exposed to all outdoor weather conditions, dust, and airborne particles.
