Main Responsibilities

Model Development:

• Create and manage detailed 3D BIM models of the overhead catenary system, including masts, wires, and supporting structures using software like Revit or AutoCAD.
• Ensure accuracy and detail in representations to support engineering and construction.

Interdisciplinary Collaboration:

• Collaborate with engineers and other project stakeholders to ensure integration of the OCS with other systems (e.g., tracks, signaling, utilities)

 Clash Detection and Resolution:

• Conduct regular clash detection analyses to identify potential conflicts between the OCS and other infrastructure elements.
• Work with teams to resolve clashes early in the design phase to avoid costly rework.

Documentation Management:

• Maintain project documentation, including design drawings, specifications, and compliance reports.
• Ensure that all documentation is updated and readily accessible to the team.

Standards Compliance:

• Ensure that all designs and documentation comply with relevant industry standards, codes, and regulations pertaining to rail and electrical systems.

Data Coordination:

• Manage project data and revisions, ensuring accurate information is shared across all stakeholders.
• Implement and maintain data management protocols.
