Mission

The Document Control Manager is responsible for the overall implementation of the Electronic Documentation Management System effectively and efficiently

Main Responsibilities

 

Responsibilities

  • Study the project requirements in relation to document and data requirement
  • Administer the EDMS tool effectively
  • Ensure that straight forward retrieval of documents when requested
  • Provide guidance for numbering outgoing documents as per contractual requirements
  • Identify the issues that can affect the productivity of the document control and recommend improvements
  • Ensure that list / log /register of documents, with clear identification and easy traceability, is up to date
  • He/ she must ensure that:
    • Project documents are distributed to the right persons in a timely manner
    • Project documents have no errors in filenames before distributing to the relevant department to avoid confusion
    • Controlled copy documents are closely monitored
    • Project documents/ records are filed and stored in way it can be retrieved easily

Profile

  • Document control experience on similar project
  • 10 years of working experience with 05 years of relevant work experience in the same position
  • Fluent in English
  • Ability to handle multi-task with strong organisation skills Good Computer skills
