Job Summary
Directs and coordinates activities related to production and delivery of aggregates products, including safety, compliance, sales, customer service and quality control.
Education
- Degree in mining, manufacturing, civil or related engineering field, or equivalent combination of education and experience preferred
- Valid drivers’ license and ability to maintain a clean motor vehicle record required, commercial license a plus
Skills
- Minimum 5 years prior experience in ready-mix, aggregates, asphalt production, delivery, sales, and services preferred
- 3-5 years prior experience leading and developing people
- Knowledge of rules/regulations governed by federal, state, and local regulatory agencies, including OSHA/MSHA, DEQ, and DOT applicable to position
- Experience managing budgets and performing basic financial analysis preferred
- Self-directed, results-oriented, and highly motivated, requiring minimal direct guidance
- Ability to lead and motivate others; proven experience effectively managing and leading teams
- Ability to effectively manage multiple priorities, problem-solve, and work under consistent pressure of deadlines
- Proficiency with computers/mobile devices, including use of basic MS Office and similar programs and applications
