VIE Cost Controller - KSA

Mission

As a VIE Cost Controller, you will support financial transparency and cost efficiency by assisting with cost reporting, internal audits, and financial planning. This role provides an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in financial analysis and reporting while ensuring compliance with company policies.

 

Responsibilities

Core Responsibilities:

  • Assist in cost control analysis across various business units.
  • Support the development and reporting of key financial metrics.
  • Help document financial policies and procedures.
  • Work closely with the Accounting Manager to support financial audits.
  • Assist in evaluating financial performance in Equipment, Labour, and Fuel branches.
  • Support the monthly financial reporting process and assist BU heads in data interpretation.
  • Ensure accurate revenue reporting before month-end closures.
  • Help with budget preparations and monthly reconciliations.
  • Assist in periodic inventory and fixed asset audits.
  • Contribute to group financial reporting (Al Futtaim / Colas).

 

Budget & Financial Reporting

  • Assist in preparing monthly financial reports and analysing variances.
  • Support the development of financial performance reports.
  • Help ensure timely reporting to Colas and Al Futtaim.
  • Contribute to budget forecasting and analysis.
     

Compliance & Risk Management

  • Learn and adhere to Colas Middle East’s Rules of Conduct and financial policies.
  • Assist in maintaining compliance with anti-bribery and corruption regulations.
  • Support efforts to foster an ethical work culture.

 

SHEQ (Safety, Health, Environment & Quality) Responsibilities

  • Promote a positive business and safety culture.
  • Support compliance with Colas SHEQ standards.
  • Encourage safe working practices and assist in safety initiatives.

 

Profile

  • Degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field, with some experience or internships in financial analysis preferred.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Basic knowledge of financial analysis, budgeting, and reporting.
  • Effective communication and teamwork abilities.
  • Detail-oriented, self-motivated, and adaptable to changing business needs.
  • Training opportunities in financial planning, budgeting, and interpersonal skills.

The position is based in Riyadh.
