Purpose of the Role
We are seeking a reliable and organized Workshop Labourer to join our team. The Labourer will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness of the workshop and the outside area of the depot. The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
Key Responsibilities
- Versatility, flexibility, attention to detail, and a positive attitude are required in this position.
- Ensure the Workshop & outside areas area is clean, organized, and compliant with safety regulations.
- Organize items in appropriate locations to facilitate easy access and retrieval.
- Commitment and compliance with the facilities 6/S requirements.
- Handle & dispose of goods according to company policies.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure cleanliness of the depot.
- Prepare items for dispatch, ensuring they are packaged securely and labelled correctly.
- At all times, wear personal protective equipment appropriate to the tasks being carried out.
- Attend safety briefing sessions as required by the company.
Person Specification
- GCSE qualifications.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Valid Full driver’s licenses.
- Forklift experience is considered an asset.
- Physically fit and have passed the require company medical.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Basic computer skills.
- Flexible, honest and reliable.
