Position Summary
The Cash Application Administrator Financial Analyst will be responsible for applying cash receipts to customer accounts accurately and efficiently. This role is crucial in maintaining our financial records and ensuring a smooth cash flow process.
Main Duties and Responsibilities
- Process daily cash receipts and apply payments to appropriate customer accounts.
- Reconcile cash accounts and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner.
- Prepare and maintain accurate records of all cash applications.
- Communicate with customers and internal teams regarding payment issues or discrepancies.
- Assist in month-end closing procedures and reports related to cash applications.
- Support with miscellaneous tasks related to cash management.
- Participate in and lead several projects as part of the treasury team.
- Support the finance team with additional accounting tasks as needed.
- Additional reporting / document creation as required.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in finance, Accounting, or a related field (preferred).
- Previous experience in cash applications, accounts receivable, or a similar role.
- Proficient in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
