Position Summary
The HR Systems and Efficiency Specialist plays a pivotal role in managing and optimizing the Human Resources Information System (HRIS) to elevate HR strategies and processes. This position demands a blend of HR expertise, technical proficiency, and proactive initiative to drive business-focused solutions and enhance our SAP Success Factors environment, ensuring seamless HR operations. A strong understanding of HR processes and a collaborative, business-oriented mindset are essential in this role to support end users and improve HR systems' efficiency.
Main Responsibilities
- Provide day-to-day support to HRIS systems and HR end users, including troubleshooting issues, managing configuration requests, and ensuring effective use of HRIS applications and tools by HR staff and managers.
- Partner with cross-functional team members on HRIS-related issues and enhancements, collaborate with HR and IT teams to identify system improvement opportunities, and implement functional enhancements.
- Ensure data quality and integrity by conducting regular audits in coordination with the People Analytics team and maintain system integrity through regular data validation processes.
- Lead and support the continuous evaluation and evolution of the HR systems.
- Act as Lead for HRIS system implementations, overseeing testing, configuration, and security administration.
- Administer and support SAP SuccessFactors across multiple modules (e.g., Employee Central, Recruiting, Performance, Benefits) and other HR systems, including Payroll.
- Support a team of HRIS members to define and drive the overall HRIS roadmap, mentor and coach the team to develop expertise, and drive process and configuration excellence.
- Coordinate with IT and the user community to identify areas of improvement, implement functional solutions, and manage requests for process improvements, system enhancements, and new software applications.
- Develop, document, and maintain all current and new HRIS business process workflows for efficiency and compliance, and support role-based permission (RBP) management to ensure secure system access.
- Assist with testing, configuration, and rollout of system changes, enhancements, and new functionality, and participate in ongoing SAP SuccessFactors implementation activities and system upgrades.
- Deliver training and documentation for HR system users as needed.
Your Profile
Skills/Qualifications:
- Minimum of 5 years of direct experience administering SAP SuccessFactors, including user support, troubleshooting, data management, and configuration. Proven track record of managing HRIS projects.
- Bachelor’s degree in human resources, Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field (or a combination of relevant education and experience).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex data and provide actionable insights.
- Experience in project management, including planning, execution, and monitoring of HRIS projects.
- Solid understanding of core HR functions and processes, with the ability to translate business needs into system solutions.
- Excellent interpersonal and collaboration skills that foster effective relationships with cross-functional teams.
- Ability to take ownership of projects and work independently as well as part of a team.
- Strong skills in system navigation, data troubleshooting, and reporting.
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail in all aspects of work.
Assets:
- Bilingual (English/French), with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Experience with tools such as Power BI or Tableau for HR data reporting.
- Experience in change management and training end-users on new systems and processes.
- HRIS certification or relevant HR certifications (e.g., PHR, SPHR).
- Experience with system implementation and integration.
