Mission


Lead the centralized procurement admin team responsible for, but not limited to, item creation, supplier onboarding, and e-procurement system administration. This role ensures data accuracy, process efficiency, and system integrity across all Colas Canada entities.

Main Responsibilities


Team Leadership & Development

  • Manage day-to-day activities of the procurement admin team.
  • Supervise item creation, supplier onboarding, Coupa platform administration activities.
  • Facilitate training and support to internal users and suppliers.

Operational Excellence

  • Drive process standardization across all procurement admin activities.
  • Foster a culture of service excellence, collaboration and continuous improvement.

Process Governance & Compliance

  • Develop and enforce standard operating procedures (SOPs) for item and supplier creation.
  • Monitor data quality and drive continuous improvement initiatives.

Stakeholder Engagement & Support

  • Act as the primary point of contact for subsidiaries/ functional teams re: procurement admin issues.
  • Facilitate training and support for internal users and suppliers.
  • Resolve escalations promptly and effectively.
  • Ensure high customer satisfaction levels.

Technology & Automation

  • Oversee the use of Coupa for operational efficiency.
  • Identify opportunities for increased automation and digitalization.
  • Ensure data integrity and system compliance.

Risk & Compliance

  • Ensure compliance with internal controls, audit requirements, and regulatory standards.
  • Implement controls to mitigate operational risks.
  • Support item creation, supplier onboarding and compliance checks.
  • Maintain compliance with procurement policies and internal controls.

Service Level Performance & Reporting

  • Monitor and achieve agreed SLAs and KPIs for procurement admin (e.g., cycle time, accuracy, responsiveness).
  • Provide regular performance dashboards to stakeholders.
  • Provide insights for process optimization.
  • Deliver accurate and timely reports on procurement admin metrics (e.g. adoption rates).
  • Identify bottlenecks and implement process enhancements.
  • Benchmark operational best practices.
  • Drive initiatives to reduce cycle times and improve accuracy.
  • Communicate service performance objectives and improvement plans to leadership.

Your Profile


Qualifications & Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business Administration, or related field.
  • 3–5 years of experience in e-procurement system administration (Coupa preferred).
  • 5+ years of procurement management experience within a shared service environment.
  • Experience overseeing procurement administration processes.
  • Bilingualism (English/French) considered an asset.

Additional Information on the position

Salary range: $110,000 - 120,000 CAD per year.
