Team member working within a strong collaborative team ensuring the efficient and accurate operations within the accounts receivable department.

 

Responsibilities:


1. Ensure a safe work environment in compliance with all federal, state, local and company safety policies and procedures using the appropriate tools and equipment for the task.                                
2. Ensure timely and accurate processing of billing                                
3. Update and analyze weekly accounts receivable aging                                
4. Coordinate with collections manager and sales representatives on the collection of past due accounts                                
5. Analyze, verify, and finalize hauler payroll                                
6. Monitor and update  certificates of insurance for hired haulers                                
7. Work closely with sales representatives, plant managers, dispatchers, and controllers                                
8. Act as the initial contact for questions regarding billing                                
9. Perform all other duties deemed necessary or assigned.

 

Qualifications:

 

  • Minimum 2-year degree in accounting or 2-4 years of applicable work experience                
  • Excellent communication skills                
  • Ability to organize, prioritize, and multi-task without extensive supervision                
  • Problem-solving and analytical skills                
  • Ability to work under pressure                
  • Construction- related industry experience a plus            
  • High attention to detail            
  • Ability to adapt to a changing environment            
  • Team player            
  • Focused on meeting daily/weekly/monthly deadlines
