Junior Project Manager
The Colas Group operates internationally in all aspects of transport infrastructure. As part of the global organisation, Colas Ireland is primarily involved the distribution of bitumen products, emulsion and emulsifier manufacturing, and the provision of specialist road maintenance services on the national, regional and local road network. In Ireland Colas operates from 14 locations across the island of Ireland.
Main Responsibilities
- Daily site visits to both asphalt crews and civils crews,
- Development of site progress reports,
- Ordering of site materials, ensuring Health, Safety & Environmental standards, policies and procedures are being adhered to on sites, use of GPS for setting out, measuring and as built records,tracking of site costs, application for road opening licenses,
- Development of traffic management plans
- Preparation of relevant paperwork for new projects
- Updating of relevant contract safety files
