PRIMARY PURPOSE:

A Proposal Coordinators core duty is to ensure that the all of the company's proposals are fully executed from start to finish. This involves coordinating the proposal process and preparing the actual proposals. In addition to these core responsibilities, the proposal coordinator will help track and communicate the upcoming projects for procurement. When necessary the proposal coordinator will be responsible to develop content on pre-qualifications, technical proposals, and interviews.

 

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Routinely monitor key customers to update potential opportunities.
  • Coordinate and attend partner and owner meetings to gather market intelligence.
  • Help prepare reports to communicate pursuits to management (including JV agreements, AD Checklist, AD Report Write Up, and Large Project Write Ups
  • Maintain and Distribute AD Booklet, Tracking Sheet, Contact Log, and Active Log
  • Develop Wire Frames for Technical Proposal Preparation
  • Schedule Meetings with Stakeholders to ensure information on proposals is updated and accurate
  • Develop, Maintain, and Distribute Deadlines for active proposals
  • When necessary facilitate the contribution on proposals from team members
  • Develop content as required to meet all requirements of the proposals
  • For Multi phased pursuits assist in developing and submitting Pre-Qualification packages
  • If an interview process is necessary Proposal Coordinator will assist in development of content for interview
  • Monitor and track Bid results for quarterly Market Intelligence Reporting
  • Organize and maintain project documents for active pursuits

 

KNOWLEDGE, EXPERIENCE EDUCATION & SKILLS REQUIRED:

  • Must be dependable self-starter
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Suites (Power Point, Word, Excel)
  • California driver's license
  • Clean DMV record
  • Fundamental Understanding of Southern California Construction Market
  • Excellent written communication skills
  • Good basic math skills
  • Working knowledge of computer applications
  • Excellent organization skills
  • Must be accurate and neat
  • Ten-years office experience

 

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

  • Talk and hear
  • Use hands and fingers
  • Reach with arms and hands
  • See well (either naturally or with correction)
  • Must be able to drive company vehicle
  • Ability to lift and carry supplies and project plans
  • Ability to communicate on telephone
