Power Supply Design Manager
Colas Rail Egypt- CML1

Key Responsibilities:

1. General Duties:

   • Stay updated on industry trends and engineering advancements.
   • Report progress, variations, and technical issues to the line manager.
   • Prepare weekly and monthly reports.
   • Attend technical meetings and collaborate with project teams.
   • Identify risks and propose solutions.
   • Provide mentorship and technical guidance to design teams.
   • Set team goals, delegate tasks, monitor performance, and recognize achievements.

2. Project Stages:

   • Tendering: Analyze tender documents, identify deviations, prepare queries, and suggest design improvements. Prepare BOQs and review supplier documents.
   • Design: Create complete electrical system designs, perform calculations, ensure client specifications are met, and provide design input during coordination meetings. Follow quality procedures and risk management protocols.
   • Materials Control: Prepare material take-off, review supplier documents, and ensure equipment compliance with project requirements. Participate in factory acceptance testing.
   • Construction: Conduct site visits to identify potential design issues, provide corrective actions, and prepare "as-built" drawings.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering (Master's or PMP preferred)
• Experience in PS design and senior management roles
• Proficiency in Revit & AutoCAD
• Fluency in Arabic and English (French is a plus)
