The position helps to build and support our JD Edwards platform solutions that touch every part of the business from HR to Finance, AP to Operations, and more. The position is an integral part of delivering quick turn-around, high quality, easily adaptable software solutions that streamline business processes, help boost productivity, and help meet compliance initiatives throughout Colas.

Main Responsibilities

• BSSV web services/restful services development: Design, development, testing JDE Business Service and JDE RESTful services (Orchestrator) which is the core requirement for all interface activities (20% of worktime)
• FDA/RDA/C/C++Development: Involve in JDE E1 toolset comprising of VC++ (for Business Functions), JDE Batch Applications/RDA (Reports and Table Conversions) and JDE Interactive
• Applications/FDA (for Power Forms, Header Detail Forms, and Header less Detail Forms, Find Browse Forms, Fix Inspect Forms and Parent-Child Forms and Message Forms) (25% of worktime)
• Data Conversion: Perform Data Conversion for migrating legacy data to new system for all Colas worldwide companies in order to get the sites to work on a single portal and JDE version. (10% of worktime)
• Development plan and estimation. Providing estimation (effort & schedule) and preparing development plan. Converting functional design documents into technical design documents for object development. Creation/Customization for existing/new applications, reports and business functions for technical enhancement. (10% worktime)
• Communicate with team members and business analysts/ system analysts to understand specific system requirements. (15% of worktime)
• Test computer system operations to ensure proper functioning by creating test case documents for all interfaces development tasks assigned including all test scenarios. (10% of worktime)
• Manage information technology projects or system activities by performing JDE Debug log analysis for system monitoring, bug fix and execution tracking activities. (5% of worktime)
• Knowledge transfer to users to be capable of using new JD Edwards Enterprise One Object. (5% of worktime)

Qualifications

Masters degree in Computer Science Engineering/Computer Science and 2 years of experience as Sr. JD Edwards Developer. Specific skills req. FDA/RDA/C/C++ Development & Debugger.  Knowledge about BSSV web services is req.

Salary: $109,000
