Job Summary

The Assistant Controller will be a strategic partner with the Regional Manager and Corporate Controller to analyze profitability for decision-making support to optimize organizational performance. 
 

Main Responsibilities

  • Assists in coordinating and leading the financial activities of the Region including staff
  • Prepares annual and monthly financial budgets
  • Responsible for the month end and year end processes
  • Analyze and review financial performances for operational efficiencies and cost savings measure with the assistance of the Regional Manager
  • Ensure proper internal controls throughout the Region
  • Files and remit sales and use tax
  • Assists with external audits
  • Other duties as assigned

Education

  • BA/BS in Accounting or Finance
  • Minimum 2 years of relevant accounting experience
  • CPA, CMA, or CCIFP certification a plus, but not required

  • Able to sit, walk or stand for various periods of time throughout the day
