Join Barrett Paving Materials Inc.'s dynamic internship program, that is crafted to educate the intern about various aspects of accounting in the aggregate, construction and manufacturing business; this paid internship spans from May to August, facilitating hands-on experience in accounting.  

 

Under the supervision of our staff, the Accounting Intern can expect to participate in the preparation of journal entries, financial reports, analyze actual financial data, learn more about bookkeeping software, and assist with other accounting activities. You should be a motivated team player who can maintain efficiency and accuracy when multitasking.

 

Accounting Intern Compensation

$20/hour

Accounting Intern Main Responsibilities

  • Basic math skills with ability to calculate and analyze data.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Proficient in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
  • Excellent organizational skills
  • Motivation and strong desire to tackle new challenges.

Accounting Intern Education

  • Currently enrolled in a relevant bachelor’s degree program, such as: Accounting or Finance.

Accounting Intern Skills

  • Strong work-ethic

  • Strong problem-solving skills
