Summary

The Miller Group is seeking a dynamic Senior Finance Analyst who will be responsible for preparing certain internal and external financial reports. This role will initially be focus on income tax related areas and eventually extended to relevant corporate reporting and budgeting. The incumbent will be expected to manage the deliverables for our annual budget presentation and provide updated forecasts at intervals requested by management.

As a Senior Financial Analyst, You Will;

  • Develop an internal module/template for income tax provisions and reconcile figures with those provided by the tax consulting firm
  • Prepare the main tax schedules for all companies within the Miller Group, leading and consolidating all tax support
  • Coordinate with the tax consulting firm to ensure timely filing of tax returns and book tax entries accordingly
  • Develop expertise in other areas such as capital assets, IFRS16 lease accounting, etc., and provide guidance to meet taxation requirements
  • Conduct special financial reporting and business-related analysis as requested
  • Maintain & Balancing combined Schedule of Capital Assets on monthly basis
  • Assist with internal controls, external financial audits, and other operational audits as required

What You'll Bring;

  • University degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business or CPA designation or working towards
  • Minimum 3 years working experiences in public accounting firms with experience in income taxes
  • Complete knowledge of income tax for corporation
  • Strong communication (verbal and written) and presentation skills
  • Ability to work with various teams across all levels and functions of the organization
  • Time management skills and ability to multi-task with competing priorities
  • Demonstrates flexibility and agility to learn and thrive in a dynamic environment
  • Advanced proficiency in MS Excel, Word, Access etc
