Industrial Cold Milling is part of Miller Paving Atlantic, based in New Brunswick and Nova Scotia. As an industry leader, we take pride in our service-oriented construction operations and strive for excellence in all areas. Industrial Cold Milling provides service to public and private sectors organization.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Valid Class 1 license clean abstract
- 2-3 years experience driving large trucks
Day in the Life
As a Class 1 Driver, you will begin to know the highways like the back of your hand, as you will be responsible for transporting precious cargo, operating and driving straight and articulated trucks, loading/unloading materials, and operating tack trucks for paving operations. Strong communications skills will also be necessary as you coordinate with clients, customers and dispatch.
When you are not driving, you will be conducting daily circle checks on vehicles, cleaning, and performing equipment maintenance but safety will be your number one priority. It will also be important to stay organized when completing daily timesheets and log books.
