Minimum Qualifications:
- G license and clean abstract
- Ability to work out of town
Preferred Qualifications:
- Mechanically inclined
- Previous Shuttle Buggy or paving experience
Day in the Life
You will operate a Shuttle Buggy that receives asphalt from dump trucks and empties into the paver in motion to apply asphalt. It will be important to follow the construction plan and quality specifications while maintaining the pace and continuity of the application. When you are operating the Shuttle Buggy, you will be conducting daily circle checks and pre-operational checks on vehicles, cleaning, lubricating, performing fluid checks and equipment maintenance. It will also be important to stay organized when completing daily timesheets and log books. Excellent driving skills, attention to detail, and a strong focus on safety will be essential.
