Miller Maintenance proudly provides maintenance services on maintenance contracts for the Ministry of Transportation throughout the province of Ontario. Our leadership in the Ontario road and highway maintenance industry is based on our commitment to continuous improvement through education, innovation, safety, and training.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Experience managing people
- Winter maintenance experience
- Ability to be on call for evenings and weekends, work variety of shifts
Preferred Qualifications:
- DZ license
- Familiar with the MOL and MTO standards and legislation
- Ability to manage deadlines in a fast paced environment
- Experience with scheduling and maintaining operator hours
- Basic computer knowledge
Day in the Life
As a Winter Foreperson, you will be responsible for the safe and efficient execution of Winter Maintenance responsibilities throughout the Niagara Region. You will successfully organize, schedule, and contact operators to report for winter plowing and salting operations.
Strong organizational skills will be important as you work alongside a Winter Sub Foreman and Winter Clerk perform winter operations in a professional and timely fashion while meeting contract requirements.
