Position Summary
The Inventory Control Coordinator assists the Facility Manager with managing the inventory control and supporting with customer service needs at the facility.
Main Duties and Responsibilities
- Performs regular and month end inventory control of all incoming raw material and finished goods manufactured at the Oshawa Facility.
- Determining and verifying variances in month end reports.
- Coordinates the work of the scale operators to ensure excellent customer service.
- Ensures all entries in the JDE system are done accurately.
- Follows all standard operating procedures and policies established by the McAsphalt Operations department.
- Responsible for conducting physical counts of packaged goods and raw material, on hold products, and any other materials or products entering and exiting the facility.
- Operating the scale and preparing tickets.
- Understanding how to perform tank dips and assisting with volume corrections.
- May be involved in review of contracts.
- Assist in the import and export of products, preparing custom documents, etc.
- Understanding and following accounting procedures, record keeping, and traceability of products.
- Lead hand and supervision responsibilities.
Required Qualifications
- College Diploma in the accounting field or Equivalent experience.
- Experience in supply chain or a position managing inventory.
- Knowledge of Contract review and/or contract administration.
- Computer literate and familiar with Microsoft Office software and JDE.
- Beneficial assets include knowledge of both English and French languages, knowledge of JDE and the Citrix Server environment.
- Valid driver’s license with good driving record required to operate any McAsphalt Vehicle.
