Job Summary:

Installs and repairs electrical systems, apparatus, electrical and electronic components of industrial machinery and equipment.

Main Responsibilities:

•    Embrace the Company’s safety culture, actively support all safety initiatives, and adhere to defined 
accountabilities implemented by the Safety Steering and Continuous Improvement teams
•    Support, promote, and practice the Company’s core values, vision, and mission; follow code of ethics, workplace 
conduct, safety, and other established policies 
•    Prioritize projects, develop and maintain work schedule, plan, coordinate, delegate and monitor projects. Ensure an adequate stock of tools and materials are available for completion of assigned workload
•    Provide technical training, guidance, leadership and coaching for affected employees. Serve as subject matter expert
•    Develop, implement and oversee electrical preventive maintenance program
•    Install and connect power supply wiring and conduit for newly installed and existing machines and equipment such as plants, conveyors, and programmable controllers
•    Diagnose and repair malfunctioning devices such as transformers, motors, and lighting fixtures
•    Test malfunctioning electrical circuits and equipment using appropriate tools and testing instruments
•    Replace faulty electrical components of machine such as relays, switches, motors, and position-sensing devices
•    Diagnose and repair or replace faulty electronic components, such as printed circuit boards
•    Replace electric motor bearings and rewire motors
•    Plan layout of wiring and install wiring, conduit, and electrical apparatus in buildings and plant equipment
•    Diagnose and replace faulty mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic components of machines and equipment

Education:

•    Associate degree or equivalent in electrical trade from two-year College or technical school or at least two years of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. 
•    Valid driver's license with a clean driving record

Skills:

Physical Requirements:

•    Personal protective equipment (PPE) required
•    Regularly required to lift and /or move between 25 and 50 pounds with or without assistance
•    Occasionally required lift and/or move up to 100 pounds with or without assistance
•    Regularly required to use hands to finger, handle, or feel
•    Regularly required to communicate (talk and hear) 
•    Frequently required to stand; walk; sit; reach with hands and arms and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl 
•    Employee is regularly exposed to work near moving mechanical parts; outdoor weather conditions and risk of electrical shock
•    Occasionally exposed to fumes or airborne particles; toxic or caustic chemicals and vibration
