Mission
Reeves Construction Company is currently seeking an experienced Shop Mechanic based out of Savannah, GA location. The successful candidate for this role will have an uncompromising focus on safety excellence.
Main Responsibilities
- Repair and maintenance of various types of heavy equipment and motor vehicles while adhering to all company safety policies.
- Proper completion of any required paperwork/records regarding repairs to equipment and vehicles on a timely basis.
- Must be able to carry out detailed instructions, take directions to job sites.
- Must be able to use good judgement in decision-making and be able to work with or without direct supervision.
Education and Skills Required
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED), or one year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combinations of education and experience.
CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS:
- Special certificates are required in order to work on air brakes or to be qualified to replace coolant in air conditioning systems.
GENERAL REQUIREMENTS:
- Mechanics must supply their own tools.
- Must actively abide by the company’s safety policies and procedures.
- Must have a current, valid driver’s license with a clear MVR.
