Job Summary

Midland Asphalt Materials Inc., a subsidiary of Barrett Industries Corporation, provides advanced pavement preservation solutions for our customers’ needs.  We are currently looking for Dump Truck Drivers in Clearfield, PA.  

 

Main Responsibilities

 

  • Pickup and deliver materials to jobsites in a safe and efficient manner.
  • Operate vehicles according to the DOT and company’s safety standards
  • Carries out standard upkeep and minor repairs of vehicle in accordance with the company’s environmental guidelines and regulations.
  • Notifies their supervisor in the event on anomalies
  • Perform daily pre and post trip inspections of assigned vehicle.  This requires climbing up, on and over unit to verify everything is in proper working order.
  • Work varying shifts and hours dependent on job demands.

 

Requirements and Qualifications

  • Must have a valid Class B CDL 
  • Must have a good driving record
  • Minimum 2 years of experience preferred
  • Wears and maintains personal protective equipment (PPE) as required
  • Occasionally required to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds
  • Regularly required to climb in and out of vehicles and/or equipment
  • Frequently required to stand; walk; sit; reach with hands and arms and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl
  • Regularly required to stand and walk across uneven terrain
  • Frequent exposure to loud noise
  • Regularly exposed to all outdoor weather conditions, dust, and airborne particles, exposure to high temperatures
  • Regularly exposed to fuel, oil, and other chemicals
  • Occasional travel with overnight stays away from home may be required
